Game Recap: Collins steps in for injured Campbell, leads 'Skins over fading Bears

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Obviously the big news is that Rex Grossman amd Jason Campbell are both likely out for the year with knee injuries. Todd Collins came in for Jason Campbell and did a respectable job of leading the 'Skins into the playoff hunt. Griese wasn't as good, and Kyle Orton will most liekly get the start next week.. Clinton Portis continues to struggle even with FB Mike Sellers back in the fold. It was Sellers' first game back so hopefully he can get his legs back to help Portis owners down the stretch.

Game Recap: Jaguars use usual stout D, Taylor's big run to bury Panthers

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Fred Tayloe continues his dominance with another 100 yard game (thanks to a big 80 yard run). Taylor seems healthier than ever, which is great for Jacksonville as MJD has regressed from last year, but not so great for MJD owners. They'll still split the carries 60-40 in favor of Taylor, but the lack of production from MJD is worrisome. Reggie Williams got another TD pass, and Garrard continues his solid season. Things are not so great in Carolina, the RBs are nowhere to be found on any stat sheets, the QB position is rediculous at this point, and the D is a joke. Avoid them all for the rest of the year, even Steve Smith, you just can't count on anything from these guys.

Game Recap: Cowboys clinch NFC East with comeback win over Lions

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

If it weren't for the Pats potential 16-0 season, Romo would be all you hear on ESPN etc. Romo has been stellar, and was once again. MB3 got a huge 3 TD game, and should be in your lineup just for games like this. Jason Witten had the look of a potential goat with his fumble at the goalline but then turned in a career day. I guess if you're going to shutout TO, Witten will reap the rewards, good for you if you've got him. Detroit got their RBs involved, Kevin Jones and TJ Duckett combining for 3 TDs, and Jon Kitna was productive (other than a lack of TDs). Detroit is going to be a bipolar team, so just beware when playing anyone with a Lion on their helmet.

Game Recap: Bills' offense comes to life as hapless Dolphins fall to 0-13

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

0-16 should be about right for this Miami team. They just have nothing going for them. On the flipside if someone on your roster is playing Miami, start them without hesitation. Samkon Gado chipped in 2 TDs on the ground, and that's about the only player worth owning on the 'Fins. Trent Edwards exploded and will probably be the starter for the remainder of the year. Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson could find themselves in a RBBC approach for the remainder of the year as well, both had good outings against the Fish. Lee Evans and Robert Royal both had 2 TDs, which one doesn't belong in this sentence?

Game Recap: Manning, Giants inch closer to playoffs, deal Eagles big blow

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Plaxico Burress might not be practicing much this year, but he should be counted on to get you through the playoffs. Not much else changed in this one, McNabb was ok in his return, but not spectacular. Brian Westbrook was the focus of the Eagles offense, and the Giants used Brandon Jacobs and a smattering of Ruben Droughns to keep the TOP in their favor. Jeremy Shockey was invisible in this one which can be partially attributed to Mannings sporadic play and the offensive game plan. If you don't have any other options then you have to play him every week, but if you're on the fence, and have an alternative, start someone else.

Game Recap: Packers clobber Raiders to clinch NFC North title

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Brett Favre, Greg Jennings, and Ryan Grant all look to be fantastic plays for the last 2 games of the fantasy playoffs. Donald Driver is still a solid play because of Favre, but he has clearly been eclipsed by the playmaking ability of Jennings. It's also clear that with Ryan Grant, the Packers are finally a complete team on offense and have a real shot at making the Super Bowl. Donald Lee also had a great game, but he's not quite as consistent as the other performers. On the Oakland side, with the woes at QB there really aren't many bright spots. Justin Fargas is a marginal play, as are Jerry Porter and Ronald Curry. There just won't be enough TD's to go around to make them a good offense to get fantasy players.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Tomlinson's touchdown completes Chargers comeback for OT win

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Philip Rivers finally came alive in the 4th quarter, and ended up with decent stats (228 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT). LT went nuts to win the game for the Chargers with 173 total yards and 2 TD's, and he is playing like the #1 pick he was in practically every league. Chris Chambers had a nice game with 90 receiving yards, but he'll be facing the Denver secondary during the fantasy super bowl week - so don't expect him to win you that title. On the Titans side, Vince Young had an abysmal fantasy performance, and should probably not be kept on your roster. LenDale White, despite having recent foot and hand injuries, rushed for 113 yards and a TD, and with his offensive line, he will be worth starting next week at KC and the week after that versus the Jets. Chris Brown rushed for only 16 yards, but rewarded his owners with a TD. Don't count on him being a major factor.

Game Recap: Berlin's first start for Rams no fun at all as Bengals win

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

This game had practically no fantasy impact for anyone but Rudi Johnson, who rushed for 92 yards and a TD. The game's only other TD was scored by the St. Louis defense, and I wouldn't recommend grabbing them off the FA pile. Aside from that, Shayne Graham kicked a lot of field goals in a predictable win for Cincinnati against a poor Rams team playing without Marc Bulger. Stephen Jackson did rush for 91 yards, and does appear to be healthy enough to start unless you have a lot of quality backs (and if you're still in the playoffs, you probably do).

Game Recap

Game Recap: Backup Rosenfels steps up again, leads Texans over Bucs

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

In the only real upset of the day, Sage Rosenfels passed for 209 yards and 3 TD's, one each to Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, and Owen Daniels (all of whom are worth consideration for starting spots every week). There really wasn't much going on in the Houston rushing game, and I wouldn't expect that to change much. Dayne is a marginal play at best, and this week was a real disappointment with only 7 carries for 17 yards. On the Tampa side, Joey Galloway played great with 87 yards. As their healthiest big-play receiver, start him every week. Also start Earnest Graham without hesitation, because he's really coming into his own as a feature back (106 total yards, 2 TD's). Even without Jeff Garcia, those guys are good enough to make a start.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Seahawks double up Cardinals to win fourth straight NFC West title

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

In the absence of Anquan Boldin, the guy who really stepped up for Arizona was Jerheme Urban, with 123 receiving yards and a TD. If you're playing in the fantasy semifinals this week, you probably aren't looking that hard for receivers, and I wouldn't advise going after this guy because he will attract more defensive attention after a performance like that. Kurt Warner's 337 yards and 3 TD's were offset by 5 INT's, but his next 2 games are against New Orleans and Atlanta, which would be a highly favorable matchup for the fantasy super bowl week. Seattle's rush game was nonexistent, and I wouldn't expect that to change - it's all Hasselbeck (272 yards, 4 TD's 0 INT). Bobby Engram, Deion Branch, and Nate Burleson are all worth consideration as starters with Hasselbeck playing so well. Even though Marcus Pollard caught a TD this week, he's been averaging under 20 yards a game the last 4 weeks, so stay away.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Vikings win fourth in row, move into sixth in NFC

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Doing absolutely nothing with his 14 carries, Adrian Peterson was completely overshadowed by Chester Taylor who rushed for 101 yards on only 8 carries and a TD. Albiet, 84 yards of that came on a single long TD run. With a very limited passing game, both players will continue to get rushing attempts as the seaosn winds down. Trent Dilfer got knowcked out before halftime with a concussion and Shaun Hill stepped in for him, throwing nearly everything to TEs and RBs. Hill may get the nod next week against Cincy as well.

Game Recap: Browns hold off pesky Jets to avoid upset in rainy New York

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

The Browns piced together another victory against the scrappy Jets witha very quality performance from Jamal Lewis who ended the day with 2 TDs (1 rushing / 1 receiving). Braylon Edwards also continued his brilliant peformance this season with another TD on 6 catches. Jerricho Cotcherry continued to show his #1 WR skills as he went over 100 yards again and Thomas Jones continued to show the world his inability to get into the endzone despite 100 yard rushing performances.

Game Recap: Cutler, Young power Broncos in rout of slumping Chiefs

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

The Chiefs complete inability to run the ball, against a bad rushing D, should be a concern to all Kolby Smith owners. The only dependable player for the Chiefs at this point seems to be Tony Gonzalez. For the Broncos, Jay Cutler put together an incredibly efficient performance throwing 2 TD strikes to Brandon Marshall and one to Daniel Graham. Looks like the TD drought is officially over for Marshall. Just when you thought Travis Henry was the guy in Denver again, Selvin Young stepped up for 156 yards on the ground. Although Henry punched in a close TD, Young looked to be in the better groove.

Game Recap: Patriots return to dominant form as Brady, Moss approach records

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Anthony Smith might want to take a vow of silence after this one. The Pats were clearly running plays designed to humiliate Smith and were extremely effective in doing so. Brady was incredible yet again and has given focus in the last few weeks to Jabar Gaffney. Signs of things going well in New England when your 4th WR has fantasy value. Running game is still non-existant in New England and despite a flukey TD to Najeh Davenport, the only good performance from the Steelers was from Willie Parker.

Game Recap: Colts clinch playoff berth by routing reeling Ravens

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

The once proud franchise of the Ravens is now in a state of dissaray. After being dismantled by Peyton Manning (4TDs) and Joseph Addai (3 TDs) on the day, the Ravens were dissapointing on all sides of the ball. For the Colts, after a few shaky weeks, they look to be back in a rithym, especially with Anthony Gonzalez looking like he is catching up to the speed of the game.

Game Recap: Coming soon...

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Coming off the news of Michael Vick's sentencing, the Falcons looked terrible in getting destroyed by the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees put on a passing clinic and hit Colston for 2 TDs and Patten for another. Aaron Stecker also ran 20 times for 100 yards. However, for the Falcons, Chris Redman played well throwing for nearly 300 yards and 2 TDs. Much of this performance however was in garbage time after the game was in hand. Atlanta's run game was nearly non-existant on the day.
