Game Recap: Pack, Favre roll through Detroit, dream season reaches 10-1

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Not much new here... Favre and the wideouts put on another clinic, start them with confidence weekly. Keep an eye on Donald Driver's ankle, it shouldn't be a problem but you never know. The Lions running game showed up early but couldn't keep going after the Pack started putting points on the board. Another medicore outing for Roy Williams, he is getting borderline benchable with his inconsistency.

Game Recap: Cowboys blow out Jets to seal franchise-record 10-1 start

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

It seemed to be the theme of the day on Turkey Day, as Dallas thoroughly trounced the Jets. Nobody on the Jets offense seemed to get it in gear, there's not one legitimate starter on the Jets when the matchup isn't even. Barber III scored a TD and had some good yards in mop up duty, but Julius Jones put in a full day of work as well. RBBC in Dallas until one of them gets hurt.

Game Recap: Manning's big second quarter boosts Colts past Falcons

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Manning connected with Anthony Gonzalez (just back from injury and filling in for Harrison) for 6 ctaches and 105 yards to lead the team. As long as Harrison continues to sit out, Gonzalez is a good WR3/flex option. The Indy running game looked good to go even without 2 starting linemen (Ugoh and Diem). Joseph Addai had a nasty looking neck injury but came back later in the game to put one in the end zone. Roddy White continues to be productive no matter what everyone else on the Falcons sidelione does. He has arrived as a fantasy WR, just think what he could do with a QB that was worth a damn.

Game Recap: Raiders run wild, win first AFC West match in 17 games

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

This game was all about the RBs (when the starters are Culpepper and Croyle waht do you expect?). Justin Fargas had another qietly productive day, and can be depended on for solid points every week. Colby Smith filled in for LJ and the recently retired Priest Holmes to put together a huge game that won many fantasy matchups singlehandedly. Smith looks like a good fill-in player while waiting for LJ to return, but don't expect the same kind of numbers that he put up against Oakland. Keep an eye on the Denver RB situation in Week 13 when they face the terrible Oakland run D..

Game Recap: Brees, Saints have no problem with struggling Carr, Panthers

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Brees continues his second ahlf tear through the season, congrats if you have him and rode out the rough times early on (ditto for Colston). The NO offense looked good, but then again it was against Carolina. That said, any offensive player going up against Carolina should probably be in your starting lineup from here on out. Injuries, inexperience, and a woeful offense are making things tough for Panthers' D. On offense, Steve Smith was the leading rusher for the Panthers with a 22 yard end around (he also chipped in 47 receiving yards, but that QB situation stinks like leftover sushi). Both RBs, Williams and Foster, don't deserve a roster spot at this point, as they continue to struggle.

Game Recap: Breakout Browns handle Texans, push record to 7-4

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Matt Schaub is definitely good to go for the rest of the season, and he will be a great addition to any team seeking a playoff spot. Derek Anderson's play continues to be solid as well. Jamal Anderson had one of his good performances, but don't expect him to get 50 yards every week, let alone 100 and a TD. Ron Dayne should continue to be a serviceable third option to many teams, especially if you lack a set of stud RB's. Owen Daniels had a great game with 82 yards and a TD, but with as many great receivers as Houston has, don't expect his success to continue. Kevin Walter is a better option for consistency. Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards continue to be the only receivers of interest for Cleveland.

Game Recap: Rams fill-in Frerotte fumbles away game to Seahawks

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

St. Louis is definitely much improved over the last 2 weeks, but all their fantasy hopes hang by a thread after Marc Bulger went down in the first quarter with a concussion. Keep a close eye on that situation, as the fantasy value for all players on the Rams' offense will be downgraded (except Frerotte, but he is a marginal play at best). Steven Jackson's 23 carries, 105 all-purpose yards, and a TD show that he is healthy and ready to contribute. On the Seattle side, Matt Hasselbeck will continue to carry the team after the disappearance of Shaun Alexander. Maurice Morris is a decent starter, and should get 70-90 yards a game, but Deion Branch, Bobby Engram, and DJ Hackett are worthy of more attention since that is where the Seahawks will be looking to score.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Vikings pick off Manning four times to drub Giants

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

The Minnesota defense came through with their second game of at least 2 defensive TD's with 3 in this contest, and really made Eli Manning's owners regret starting him in this game. You have to wonder how well Manning will play in the next few weeks when his own GM is questioning his on-field decisions. When you telegraph throws as much as he was, it doesn't matter that you're throwing to Plaxico Burress. Continue to ignore the Minnesota passing game, and expect a reasonably healthy AP back next week to take production away from Chester Taylor, who filled in nicely in his absence. Both Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward were injured, and Droughns may get the start again next week if they aren't back.

Game Recap: Taylor leads way as Jags' victory over Bills clinches AFC East for Patriots

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

David Garrard's 296 pass yards should be viewed with caution, given the low quality of defense he was facing. For the most part, I'm still not thrilled with their passing offense, though if you are hard pressed for receivers it would be a decent idea to pick up Reggie Williams or Dennis Northcutt. Fred Taylor is getting the lion's share of carries and yards in the rushing game, though Maurice Jones-Drew still gets considerable output in the return game and frequent chances at the goal line (which he makes the most of). Buffalo's only real fantasy option, Marshawn Lynch, is still down, and until he is healthy I would bench the rest of the Bills because his rushing ability opens up the passing game.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Johnson erupts for three touchdowns to lead Bengals' rout of Titans

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

There is the Cincy offense! Finally, it came back. Carson Palmer threw all 3 of his TD's to Chad Johnson, who finally regained the top fantasy status from TJ Houshmandzadeh this week. All three Bengals players are solid starters from here on out. Rudi Johnson rushed for 88 yards and a TD, and he is fantasy ready after a long absence. For some reason, the Titans' rushing game completely disappeared, and no player was worth anything. They will come back, but right now they are not a team heading in the right direction. They have struggled to score points and win games lately, and you would do well to trade away some players. It may be a good time to get some value from Butterball (LenDale White). He has a lingering foot injury, which is the kiss of death for RB's.

Game Recap: Garcia goes down, but Bucs survive turnover-happy 'Skins

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Dont' look now but Jason Campbell has gone over 300 yards in consecutive games (despite both being losses). Clinton Portis gave up some carries to Ladell Betts in the game and still is not putting together good performances week-in and week-out. Betts may see some additional carries as the season drags on. Chris Cooley was a stud in the game and Keenan McCardell had 6 receptions. For Tampa, the offense was pretty poor without an inured Jeff Garcia. However, they still pulled the game out with field positioning. Ernest Graham continued to put up quality fantasy numbers and should be a good play for the remainder of the season.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Warner's fumble in end zone gives 49ers dramatic OT win

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

I goof on Dilfer often btu in this game, he managed the game well and had a very solid performance. On the heels of a great game by Frank Gore (about time), the 49ers pulled out a victory. Hopefully the 49ers have learned a valuable lesson and will feed the ball to Gore 30+ times a game. Seemed to work this past weekend. For Arizona, Kurt Warner was huge with nearly 500 yards passing including two TD strikes to Larry Fitzgerald. Anquan Boldin owners should be concerned that in a game with ~500 yards passing, he could only get 76 yards.

Game Recap: L.T. surpasses 10,000 career rushing yards, Bolts blast Ravens

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

If you've been benching your players because they are playing the Baltimore D, stop benching the3m immediately. The Ravens D has quickly gotten old and depleted due to injuries. For the Ravens O, this was a standard medoicre game with McGahee getting ~20 carries and a TD and limited passing game. Philip Rivers looked very sharp with 3 TDs including 2 to Antonio Gates. The WRs for San Diego are clearly not the primary targets for passes from Rivers as he loves the TE and RB passes.

Game Recap: Bears stay in playoff mix behind wild comeback, Gould OT winner

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Insert RB, get great fantasy performance. That's the recipe for Denver's running game. Andre Hall had a very nice performance with nearly 100 yards rushing and 69 yards through the air (plus a TD to go along). Brandon Marshall surprised me with a TD and Javon Walker was blanked on the day with 0 receptions. For Chicago, the Bears took a hit and lost Cedric Benson for the season who will be replaced by Adrian Peterson (the other one). Benson has been playing himself out fo a job until very recently anyways so Peterson may have gotten his opportunity at some point.

Game Recap: Road to 11-0 isn't easy as Patriots stave off Eagles

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

In a complete role reversal, AJ Feeley ended up with 3 TDs on the game and Tom Brady ended up with an improbable 1 TD. Mind boggling I tell you. The Eagles did a great job of taking away the deep passing game and forcing pressure on Brady which led to a multitude of underneath passes to Wes Welker. For the Eagles, Greg Lewis had 2 big TD receptions and Reggie Brown had another. Brian Westbrook had some key runs and ended up witha solid fantasy day. The Patriots still refuse to run the ball.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Steelers avoid scoreless tie, splash past winless Dolphins on late FG

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

For fantasy teams, this was a terrible game. In a sloppy field almost no offense was played with Hines Ward and Willie Parker having the only respectible fantasy numbers. The game ended 0-3 so there is not much else you can take away from the game. Just chalk it up a an abberation for both teams.
