Game Recap: Cards' Rolle returns two picks for touchdowns to stymie Cincy

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Cincy's offense is officially in as much trouble as their defense now. Palmer hasn't looked good, and the running game is rather broken. Even reliable TJ Houshmanzadeh can't be counted on for 100 yard, 1 TD games anymore, now that Henry is back. Kurt Warner continues to do well even with only 1 arm working, and Larry Fitzgerald will continue to reap the rewards.

Game Recap: Packers move to 9-1, win matchup of oldest starting QBs in history

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Drew Carter was overmatched and playing without Steve Smith opposite him but it didn't matter, he had a great game, and had a good connection with Testaverde. Ryan Grant went down with a minor ankle sprain, but he should be good to go for next week. Favre connected with Donald Lee for another 2-TD game.for the TE, even if Bubba Franks comes back from injury and steals some catches, Lee will still be a worthy start for the rest of the year.

Game Recap: Browns tie game -- barely -- on miracle field goal, stun Ravens in OT

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Congratulations if you had Phil Dawson as your kicker in this one, what a weird game. McGahee and Lewis had the games you've come to expect from them, 90-100 yards and a TD, good consistent production from those two. Josh Cribbs looked dangerous returning kicks and punts, if you get points for individual return stats, pick this kid up now. Baltimore's Devard Darling had 4 career catched before his 4 catches for 107 yards and a TD in this one. Derrick Mason isn't ever going to pull a 4 TD game out, but at least you can count on him for 7-8 points a week, that's something you can't same the same for a lot of WRs (cough... Hines Ward... cough).

Game Recap: Vinatieri drills winner to lift Colts over pesky Chiefs

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

The entire Indy offense is downgraded until Marvin Harrison comes back full speed, what a difference he makes to Manning. The usually reliable Vinatieri missed another 2 FGs, hope you didn't draft him early. Brodie Croyle didn't do terrible, which is all they asked of him. Dwayne Bowe caught Croyle's only TD in this one, and has shown that he can be counted on to contribute to your playoff push on a weekly basis.

Game Recap: Eagles lose McNabb -- but don't lose to 0-10 Dolphins

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

McNabb was taken out due to an ankle sprain officially, but he looked terrible all game before that play. Westbrook took the team on his back and had a staggering 32 rushes called his way, only the second time in his career he's had more than 24. If McNabb is out for a while, expect Westbrook to be called on to compensate. No one esle on the Eagles can be counted on for any consistency at this point. Ted Ginn finally had some fantasy relevance with a nice punt return for a TD as well as 52 yards receiving.

Game Recap: Fomer top pick Williams helps Texans stop Bush, Saints

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Matt Schaub is definitely looking like a solid start at this point (293 yards, 2TD, 0 INT). With Andre Johnson back, and a strong set of receivers who have solid game experience, he will have a major impact for the fantasy playoffs. Andre Johnson's 73 yard TD catch clearly establishes him as being back in game shape and ready to perform - start accordingly. Ron Dayne is rewarding those who picked him up as a free agent, and you should continue to hold and play him. Reggie Bush had 104 yards total offense, though with 2 fumbles, and the only other bright spot was Marques Colston with 118 yards. There really aren't any other NO players worth having aside from those two and Brees.

Game Recap: Giants get banged up, but lean on D to beat Lions

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Calvin Johnson's value is slowly increasing, though his best usage is in a keeper league because his future production will be at the elite level. He's worth starting now, but he won't always come up with a lot of points. Kitna will continue to get a lot of yards, and quite a few of them have been to Shaun McDonald lately. He's had 70+ yards the last 3 games, and has shown great consistency in the passing game. Perhaps the biggest surprise in this game was that Brandon Jacobs was the leading receiver for the Giants, and though his rushing total was unimpressive, he had enough overall production to have a real fantasy impact.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Taylor picks up for Peterson as Vikings top Raiders

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Minnesota's offensive line might be the best in football. Whoever they start at RB is going to be a fantasy winner - this week it was Chester Taylor with 164 yards and 3 TD's. He's not as dynamic as Peterson, but he can certainly follow his blocks. The Minnesota passing game is still not worth looking at except for possibly Visanthe Shiancoe, who had 2 catches for 94 yards. If you're struggling at TE, he's worth a look, but I would prefer to see 8 catches for 65 yards than 2 for 94, because that won't carry over to other games. Daunte Culpepper passed for 344 yards against his old team, and thankfully for fantasy owners, most of it was to Ronald Curry (120) and Jerry Porter (88).

Game Recap: Garrard doesn't miss a beat, leads Jags past bumbling Bolts

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

David Garrard came back in his consistently consistent form, with 189 yards and 2 TD's. He still hasn't thrown an INT. Fred Taylor is getting the majority of yards in the rush game, but the more valuable commodity is still Maurice Jones-Drew because he scores all the TD's and also gets a lot of return yards. Reggie Williams is the only Jacksonville receiver worth attention in a forgettable group. San Diego's trio of Tomlinson, Chris Chambers, and Antonio Gates is very valuable again this week, and despite Philip Rivers's 300 yard, 2 TD passing day, hold him with outstretched arms.

Game Recap: Bucs ride Garcia, D to flummox Falcons, embarrass Leftwich

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Another consistent QB, Jeff Garcia, also had a 2 TD, no INT day (though only 159 yards). Garcia is a known quantity in fantasy, which makes him a solid play especially in a good matchup such as this one. Alex Smith is proving to be an excellent option at TE with Garcia behind center, and he should be started weekly unless you have Antonio Gates. Earnest Graham continued his amazing emergence this season with a 102 yard rushing performance on only 17 carries. He runs with a vengeance every time he gets the ball, and is really the only interesting part of watching a Tampa game. The Atlanta QB's are both untouchable, with both getting at least 20 attempts and not much to show for it. Michael Jenkins had 73 receiving yards, but other than that no Atlanta player did anything of value.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Jets clock Big Ben, Steelers behind Nugent's OT winner

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

What you thought was a lock ended up being just the opposite. The Jets and the Steelers grinded the game into a defensive battle where neither team had any real superstars from a fantasy standpoint. For the Steelers, Santonio Holmes contined his excellent play with 75 yards and a TD. He looks to be a solid play every week. He has really turned the corner in bring an NFL pro. Just when you wanted to say that Big Ben is an elite NFL QB, he had a poor performance. I don't think you can expect elite numbers from him week in week out but he will get you the occasional big game based on the matchup. Noteworthy for the Jets is that Laverneaus Coles was injured in the game and his status for week 12 is that he is unexpected to play. Brad Smith should step in for Coles.

Game Recap: Grossman good, Hasselbeck better: 'Hawks get best of Bears

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Yes...I'm as shocked as you...Cedric Benson averaged over 3 yards per carry. Actually, he looked quite good in his rushing attempts. The only problem was that Chicago only ran him 11 times. Bernard Berrian was heavily active and had 9 receptions for over 100 yards and looks to be a very good play as long as Grossman is the QB. Hasselbeck again threw over 40+ times in the game and cleared 300 and 2 TDs. Mo Mo also looked very good and chipped in for another TD on the ground. One thing is clear and that is that DJ Hackett is performing at a very high level right now and with Seattle being pass happy and Deoin Branch working himself back into the lineup, that trend should continue.

Game Recap: Rams hold off 49ers; both teams tied for last in division

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Cellar dwellers normally don't make for exciting games and these two were no exception. There were truely no gems to take from this game except for the fact that you should avoid the SF offense like the plague and the St Louis offense will be equally plagued by inconsistency due to the problems they have with their offensive line.

Game Recap: T.O. burns Redskins for four touchdowns as Cowboys hold on

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

In a passing slugfest with Tony Romo and Jason Campbell, Romo ended up besting Washington with 4 passing TDs, all of which went to TO. Jason Campbell had his best game as a pro and kept Washington in the game with his great play until he threw an interception in the waning moments of the game. The TE position continues to hurt Dallas each week. Keep an eye on this going forward. Niether run game made any impact in the contest.

Game Recap

Game Recap: Moss' huge first half helps Patriots steamroll Bills

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

Trying to hang with TO on the day, Randy Moss bested the veteran with 4 TDs in the first half. New England continued to pour it on throughout the game with Brady continuing his rediculous TD streak with 5 more on the game (with a measly 375 yards). Laurence Maroney continues not to get carries...there must be more to this than meets the eye but he definitely seems to be out of favor in NE. Noteworthy stat...Maroney became the 19th player to score a TD for NE this season.

Game Recap: Unheralded duo leads Broncos past Titans, into first-place tie

Game Center: Click here

Fantasy Impact

In an unexpected solid performance, Vince Young passed for over 300 yards and ran for another 74 in the game. No particular Wr was outstanding for Tennessee as Vince spread the ball around to several different receivers. For Denver. Jay Cutler has a very efficient performance and ended up with 200 plus 2 TDs and 0 INTs. The Brandons each had a TD reception from Cutler. Due to Selvin Young twisting his knee in the contest, Andre Hall stepped in tin the 3rd quarter and busted loose for a 62 yard Td romp and ended up with 89 yards on 7 carries. Might be a good guy to look at if Young is to miss any time.
