Quarterback

Rationale |

Jason Campbell
Washington Redskins |
A one-week band aid for what ails you. Why Campbell in Week 3? He’s playing the New York Giants. The Giants D is a mess right now, their secondary couldn’t cover your grandma, and their LBs are pitiful in coverage. Add in the fact that he’ll run a bit and he should have a good day. Expect 240 passing yards, 2 TDs, and 45 yards rushing

Josh McCown
Oakland Raiders |
Cleveland gave up 6 passing TDs last week and 4 passing TDs in week 1. I would say that McCown has a solid matchup for this weekend. Expect no less than 250 yards and 2+ TDs. By the way, I think he looks like Ivan Drago from Rocky

Running Back

Player |
Rationale |
 |
DeShawn Wynn
Green Bay Packers |
The former Gator underachiever stepped up in Week 2, chipping in 50 yards and 2 TDs for the Pack. He caught the eyes of the coaches and should get some more carries in Week 3. Don’t get too excited however, the Packers O-line has been terrible with run blocking so far this year, and Vernand Morency is close to being back in the lineup, making this backfield a ménage-a-trois nightmare for fantasy owners. Think of him as more of a ‘loaner’ from free agency until he proves otherwise |
 |
Sammy Morris
New England Patriots |
Belicheck is turning into the new Shannahan. You drafted Laurence Maroney thinking that he was going to geta sickening number of yards and TDs in what would be a great offense only to be stung by a RBBC of Morris/Maroney. Morris is not only stealing carries from Maroney but is also playing the role of TD vulture. |
Wide Receiver

Rationale |

Shaun McDonald
Detroit Lions |
A #4 WR you say? Yes, in this offense all things are possible. In Mike Martz’s name we trust, amen. He quietly accumulated some decent looks in the first two weeks, and his prior stint with Martz in St. Louis certainly helps his situation. He’s good depth for your WR corps especially in PPR leagues. |
 |
Roydell Williams
Tennessee Titans |
Looks to have a nice connection with Vince Young. If you take in to account that no other receiver has stepped up in Tennessee to be the #1, Roydell could easily emerge as a fantasy impact player. Worth a flier if you have the roster spot. |
 |
Jacoby Jones
Houston Texans |
With Andre Johnson injured, Jacoby should see an increased workload. We certainly think he is capable of handling it. He also gets you return yardage if your league counts it. We've been talking about the emergence of Jacoby Jones for weeks and it looks like this could be his breakout week. |
Tight End

Rationale |
 |
Greg Olsen
Chicago Bears |
The rookie is looking getting over his preseason knee injury and should get some action this week against the Cowboys. It still remains to be seen if his knee can take a whole game worth of beating, but if you’re lacking in the TE position, Olsen could be worth a gamble.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
Tampa is a bit of a surprise pick here given that they are facing the Rams this week. However, last week the Rams gave up 6 sacks and looks to be in disarray without Orlando Pace. Plus, the Bucs held down an arguably good Saint offense in last weeks game and appear to be a solid unit. |
