 |
The Buy Em' / Sell Em' is a piece we run each week that helps you to identify players that you should trade for (Buy Em') and those players that you should try to trade away (Sell Em'). You can really improve your roster throughout the season if you can buy low and sell high, just like the stock market. So check back here each week for a list of players that are prime targets to be bought and sold.

Rationale |
 |
1 |
Laurence Maroney
New England Patroits |
Now back at full health, Maroney is working his way into the Patriots' game plan as both a rusher and receiver. Since he's a part of that scoring honeypot that is the New England offense, look for him to get some TD's, especially once the weather gets terrible in New England. |
 |
2 |
Greg Jennings
Green Bay Packers |
With TD's in 3 of the last 4 games and Favre looking to prove he can still throw it downfield, Jennings is capable of huge fantasy numbers. He doesn't just catch the long bomb, either - he's capable of turning short passes into long gains. |
 |
3 |
Joseph Addai
Indianapolis Colts |
With some people worried about the emergence of Kenton Keith, Addai may be undervalued. He's clearly the #1 guy in Indy, and he will continue to get frequent carries in the red zone. |
 |
4 |
Selvin Young
Denver Broncos |
With Travis Henry on the way out, it's Young's turn to get 100 yards a game in the Denver offense. He has shown the ability to break long runs, and with the track record of rushing production in that offense, he will be a valuable pickup. |
 |
5 |
Vernon Davis
San Fracisco 49ers |
With Alex Smith's injured shoulder, he has trouble throwing down the field. That won't change soon, and for now he is constantly looking to Vernon Davis for help (10 passes were thrown to him last game). Pick Davis up after this weekend's bye. |

Rationale |
 |
1 |
Brian Griese
Chicago Bears |
The matchup doesn't get any better than playing against the Detroit pass D. However, Griese looked terrible against the Lions and made some horrific decisions near the endzone. I would hesitate to start Griese in any matchup since he's shown some inconsistency. |
 |
2 |
Clinton Portis
Washington Redskins |
He's looked very ordinary recently and the Redskins O-line issues don't help. It would not surprise me to see Betts get increased carries as the weeks progress.
|
 |
3 |
Thomas Jones
New York Jets |
No knock on TJ but he is getting no help from his o-line or QB. Teams are not threatened by any kind of downfield attack and Jones is getting keyed on in the defensive scheme. |
 |
4 |
Vincent Jackson
San Diego Chargers |
Here is the problem with Jackson. Now that Chambers is in town, he is offcially the 4th offensive option (at best) for the Chargers. That is not good for you and Jackson should be pawned off accordingly. |
 |
5 |
Bernard Berrian
Chicago Bears |
He is a good player but the offense is inconsistent and Griese is just not connecting enough with Bernard to warrant fantasy relevancy. |
