Season Buy Em'/Sell Em' List - Week #6 |
 |
The Buy Em' / Sell Em' is a piece we run each week that helps you to identify players that you should trade for (Buy Em') and those players that you should try to trade away (Sell Em'). You can really improve your roster throughout the season if you can buy low and sell high, just like the stock market. So check back here each week for a list of players that are prime targets to be bought and sold.

Rationale |
 |
1 |
Ronald Curry
Oakland Raiders |
With Culpepper lighting it up against the Dolphins, in addition to surprisingly good offensive performances so far this year from the Raiders, Curry is a decent option. He's also done with his bye. |
 |
2 |
Titans DEF/ST
Tennessee Titans |
The Titans have shown great defensive effort so far, with DT Albert Haynesworth leading the way with some amazing plays. If they get Pacman back after the 10th game, watch out. (And yes, they already had their bye.) |
 |
3 |
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
Cincinnati Bengals |
Here's another guy coming off a bye. Houshmandzadeh had 10 catches against the Patriots, and he is averaging 90 yards a game with 5 TD's in 4 games. With his excellent offseason work, and a great QB who wil have to lead a lot of scoring drives to stay in the game, count on Houshmandzadeh to put up good numbers for the rest of the season. |
 |
4 |
Patrick Crayton
Dallas Cowboys |
Last year, Crayton had 516 yards receiving and 4 TD's. In 5 games this season, he has 335 yards and 3 TD's. With Romo playing a full season and Terry Glenn out indefinitely, he's a solid option on a stacked Dallas offense. It may be prudent to wait until after this week's matchup with New England - you may get a better value. |
 |
5 |
Matt Schaub
Houston Texans |
Schaub's stats have been more in the middle of the pack lately, but when Andre Johnson gets back from injury, you'll see a huge jump in his numbers. After this week's game would be a good time, because Johnson will be out for Week 6 with a sprained knee, which has kept him out since Week 2. |

Player |
Rationale |
 |
1 |
Steve Smith
Carolina Panthers |
He was on the list last week too. I can't explain in words how dissapointed I am that David Carr has ruined Steve for all of us. |
 |
2 |
Chris Chambers
Miami Dolphins |
Chambers is a nice athlete but if you are paying attention, Miami is nearly incapable of getting into the endzone without handing the ball to Ronnie Brown. Chambers should be packaged and shipped off accordingly.
|
 |
3 |
Cedric Benson
Chicago Bears |
I'll say this, if Chicago had anybody of significant value behind Benson he would be riding the pine. The fact that he can keep his job this long proves to you that Adrian Peterson is not the answer. |
 |
4 |
Jerious Norwood
Atlanta Falcons |
Aside from there being a marginal running game in Atlanta, Jerious has not taken the opportunity to claim the starting role over an aged Warrick Dunn. Reminds me of a poor man's Cedric Benson. |
 |
5 |
Desmond Clark
Chicago Bears |
With the Bears ushering in the Greg Olsen era this weekend, Desmond's stats are due to take a dive. Trade him before the other owners catch on. |
